PS: I can't get the thought off of the back of my head like I've seen this before :/ did you post it somewhere else? my forgetful brain might've just seen it someplace else TTwTT
Actually, this painting was done years ago (summer of 2004). This was originally done for my watercolour painting class when I was in art school. Maybe we both were in the same class???
When the contest mentioned that old paintings are okay to submit for the contest, as long that it fits the criteria, I just thought: Why not put it in and see where it goes!
When I did the line drawing for this painting, I exaggerated the eyes, mouth, and cheek areas.
I wanted a bit of a cartoony look.
